2026 CNS Conference: July26-30th in Victoria, BC, Canada

Dear CNS Community,
In July 2026, we’ll gather once again—this time in the stunning setting of Victoria, British Columbia—for our annual CNS Symposium. But this year is more than just another meeting. It’s a milestone!

We’re turning 30!

For three decades, the Comparative Nutrition Society has been a home for scientists, researchers, professionals, and students who share a passion for understanding nutrition across species and systems. We’ve grown together, inspired each other, and built a vibrant, interdisciplinary community that spans continents and careers.

From July 26–30, 2026, at the Inn at Laurel Point, we’ll come together not just to learn and exchange ideas—but to reflect on how far we’ve come and where we’re headed next.

This anniversary is a chance to spotlight the interdisciplinary cross-pollination that defines CNS—where nutrition intersects with research, health, ecology, metabolism, and more. It’s also a time to recognize how this community has shaped our science, our careers, and our lives.

Let’s celebrate the science, the serendipity, and the spirit of CNS. Let’s honor the diversity of thought, the depth of expertise, and the joy of coming together for the love of comparative nutrition. Through a diverse and engaged membership, we grow stronger and further our field via new techniques and technologies. We’re looking forward to reminiscing where we’ve been and talking more about our future as a dynamic and welcoming society of scientists in this – our 30th year!

Here’s to 30 years of discovery, connection, and community in comparative nutrition.

We can’t wait to see you in Victoria!

Warmly,
The CNS Board of Directors
