Dr. James “Jim” Atkinson,
one of CNS’ long-time members and past president from 2014-2015, passed away
this summer on July 3rd at the age of 76. He had been at the University of
Guelph for nearly 50 years at the time of his passing, and many of our members
have studied with him. His very energetic personality will be missed at
our meetings.
His friends and colleagues at Guelph will be holding a celebration of his life, and they have asked that we extend the invitation to all that knew him. We have asked if there will be a link for a live stream of the event. If they provide one, we will post it here.
