NEW WEBPAGE FUNCTIONS

We have continued to modify the CNS webpage, based in part on your suggestions.  These changes include the following:

Online conference registration and abstract submission: Registration and abstract submission can be completed online.  This will allow for more timely receipt of your submissions.

Photos from meetings: We have posted some photos from previous meetings.  If you have addition photos that you would like to contribute, please email .jpg files to Wendy Hood at wrhood@auburn.edu

Functions exclusively for CNS members:

In the members section, you can:

  • modify your username and password and request that both be emailed to you directly, if you have forgotten your username and/or password.
  • check to see if your annual dues have been received.
  • update your address if you have moved.
  • share information about yourself in the personal profile, including which taxa and topics you are interested in, and/or what analyses you use.  You can add a link to your personal or institution webpage.  In addition, you can add other information that is relevant to the CNS community.  For example, you may wish to add that you are actively looking for graduate students interested in fish digestive physiology.
  • search for other members, based on name, institution, taxa and topics studied, or analyses utilized.  Your search results will display member profiles that match your search request.  We hope that this information will help you to contact other members, learn more about them on via their webpage link, or introduce you to that graduate opportunity they posted.

Member publications: A member publications link will randomly display reference to recent publications of our members, based on any references members have added to their profile.

The Digestive System of Vertebrates: Drs. Ed Stevens and Esther Finegan are currently developing webpages that will contain Dr. Stevens CD The Digestive System of Vertebrates accompanied by high resolution images of the CD and lecture illustrations for use by faculty, researchers, and students.  These will be included in the CNS webpage.  A beta version of this webpage is currently available under the Vertebrate Digestive Systems link.
