CNS February 28th Fireside Chat

Hopefully the thought of the symposium has you inspired and excited to talk about comparative nutrition soon!

We will be having a fireside chat February 28th @ 3:30PM EST

Topic will be One Health: the intersection of human, animal and environmental health

Mark your calendars now and stay tuned for a Zoom meeting link

Join us Wednesday, February 28th for the next CNS Fireside Chat to discuss ONE HEALTH! 🔥

For those not in the know, the One Health perspective examines the intersection of human health, animal health, and environmental health. Much of the emphasis (and money) focuses on the risk of zoonotic diseases coming from wild animals to the human world, infecting us and our domestic animals. Animal conservationists also focus on the risk of diseases spread to wildlife from human activity (e.g. livestock production, encroaching of the human-built environment into wild lands). Relatively few people appear to examine how nutrition might fit within the One Health perspective. Our CNS President, Dr. Mike Power, will be hosting this chat, and he hopes to stimulate a broad discussion about how to incorporate comparative nutrition into One Health.

🕒 The session begins at 3:30 PM EDT (8:30 PM GMT; 9:30 PM CET; 2:30 PM CST; 12:30 PM PST; 9:30 AM NZDT).

The meeting link will be added closer to the event, but mark your calendars now!

This meeting is open to all! You do NOT need to be a member to attend, so if you know someone who would be interested in this topic, please feel free to invite them.
