STUDENT COMPETITION
Graduate Student Travel Awards: CNS will award two travel awards:
- Susan Crissey Memorial Scholarship will recognize student research in captive animals
- Malcolm Ramsey Memorial Scholarship will recognize student research in field animals.
Recipients will have their CNS meeting registration fees waived and receive a $1,000 honorarium. To apply, students must be a member of the CNS (you can join at www.cnsweb.org) and submit an abstract of their research and their CV by May 15th. Abstracts will be judged based on scientific merit and their potential to make an innovative and exciting contribution to the field of comparative nutrition.
Graduate Student Presentation Awards: At the symposium, each of student presentation entered into the competition will be judged based on style, scientific merit, and their contribution to the field of comparative nutrition.
- Two awards will be given in recognition of the highest quality oral and poster presentations.
Recipients will each receive a $500 honorarium.
Please Note: Students awarded a travel award will not be eligible for a presentation award.
